Welcome everyone to 2026 Australian Grand Champion Schonhardt For My Ego (pictured) Ego was the first home-bred Grand Champion All Breeds Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show winner. He won multiple Best in Groups in Australia. The award below for "Ethical Miniature Schnauzer Breeder" is not applied for but awarded by American TrainPetDog.com and I believe I am the only Australian Breeder to receive any award from this Association. I am greatly proud of this accomplishment.
Ethical I have kept firmly to my beliefs. I have only bred when I wanted a puppy to show and carry on my breeding program which goes back 53 years.
I usually only have one litter a year to give me the time to raise and house train and socialize them. I never let them leave before 10-12 weeks and have had two vaccinations.
I have been exhibiting and breeding dogs since 1969 and have the No.1 kennel of minis in Australia. To date I have bred/handled in excess of 150 minis to their championship titles. At home I have "Australian Grand Champions as well as American/English/Australian and Canadian Champions, who have sired International / Swedish / Finnish/ Estonian/ Dutch and South African Champions. My record stands alone here in Australia and I doubt it will be beaten!
